World is pound with million tonnes of industrial wastes such as ground granulated blast furnace slag, fly-ash and mine tailings as industrial waste. The best way to make use of these wastes is to incorporate these materials as structural elements, which in turn minimises the carbon foot print. Utilisation of fly ash as a raw material allows for the conservation of natural resources, abates further pollution and preserves the environment. Innovative geo-polymerisation solutions and methods for converting fly ash, furnace slag to materials such as bricks, blocks and binder material method is required to provide industries with opportunity of commercial exploitation using natural resources and tailings .
