Challenge Summary

Due to lack of potable water availability & improper utilization, we require a water management & optimization solution. The target is to minimize the wastage of potable water from 15 KL upto 1 KL per day.

Challenge Scenario

As per the contract with Public Health Engineering Department (PHED), Ajmer supplies 75KL of potable water per day, to meet the water requirement of Kayad mine. During the summer season, water supply is reduced to 65-70%, resulting in water scarcity of usable potable water.

Water received from PHED is further treated in our RO Plant, which is then supplied for human usage. However , the quality of water is tested manually, and cumbersome and we require it to be automated. Potability test report of water is available upon the shortlist of the startup. Based on estimations we can currently save upto 12 KL/ day. We are looking forward to asking for solutions to improve the same.

Tracking/ Measuring the Water leakage in all buildings

Location tracking of water leakages and wastage

Threats identified: Tampering of pipe line, air valve and other equipment in the remote locations from where pipelines are passing.

Security: Cloud-based solutions with industry-standard security licenses to address theft and tampering issues.
