To improve security and surveillance by identifying and restricting access to employees for certain unauthorised areas with video analytics while tracking suspicious people and vehicles.

Challenge Scenario

The majority of facilities are currently using manual paper-based Permit to Work (PTW) procedures and forms for which different facilities require different processes and different authorizations for employees to avoid any trespassing. The present process involves permit requests by the employee, reviewing the permit while validating all the information and other certificates, performing Job Safety Analysis (JSA), identifying hazards, and finally approval & issuance of the permit. This Permit to Work process is highly time-consuming and labor-intensive. Not only this but also any delay in PTW results in work time lost because employees are waiting for their permit.
